The Adur Community Safety Partnership

What the partnership aims to do

With the aim of making Adur District a community that is a safe place to live, work and visit, the Partnership identified key priorities that concern the people of Adur and formulated work groups to address them.

The four work groups are :

  • The Adur In Partnership Young People & Childrens Partnership
This group is the result of a merger of the young people's sub groups of both the Adur in Partnership (LSP) and the Adur Community Safety Partnership.
  • Domestic Violence
The Adur Domestic Violence group is led by the West Sussex Community Safety Team and aims to increase reporting of domestic violence incidents and reduce repeat victimisation
  • Vehicle Crime
The group aims to reduce incidents of Vehicle crimes by raising awareness andproactive initiatives.
  • The Safer Adur Team
The S.A.T is a multi agency team based in Shoreham Police Station and aims to reduce the instances of Anti Social Behaviour and their impact on the community and peoples lives.
