Playground equipment safety inspections

There are 22 playground sites under the direct control of Adur District Council. Our aim is to try and inspect them all every day under the guidelines of the new European Directives (BS EN 1176 & BS EN 1177).

For obvious reasons this duty is best carried out during daylight hours and forms a substantial part of the working day.
