Registering births, deaths and marriages
This service is run by West Sussex County Council (WSCC), not Adur District
Council.
West Sussex is divided into five districts for the purposes of the registration of births, deaths and marriages. Each district has a Superintendent Registrar who can conduct marriage ceremonies. There are Registrars in each sub-district who are responsible for registering births and deaths and accept notices of marriages.
Adur falls within the Worthing Registration District.
