Registered charity number : 1088423
The Chairman has chosen Adur Special Needs Project as one of his charities for 2008/09.
What do they do?
The Adur Special Needs Project (ASP) is a local registered charity committed to providing out-of-school respite and recreational activities for young people with special needs aged from 5 years.
Presently ASP provides fortnightly weekend respite, a three week summer scheme, a weekly interactive youth club and a weekly club for young adults aged 18 and over. The staff are professional providing a safe, friendly and fun atmosphere where young people are encouraged to play, mix socially and participate in fun activities.
ASP caters for ALL young people with special needs and operate a ‘no selection’ policy.
Why they need our help?
Adur Special Needs Project is in need of funds to expand and develop their
service for young people with special needs. It costs £85.00 per day per member
to provide the quality of service that young people need and to give their Parents/Carers
some time to themselves.
