The Leader of the Council : Portfolio / Terms of Reference
The current Leader of the Council is :
- Neil Parkin (St Nicolas Ward, Conservative)
Responsibly for the following functions :
- Overall policy and strategy;
- External relations;
- Reputation management;
- Internal and external communications;
- Public Services Board;
- Electoral Services, within the remit of the Cabinet;
- Member Services;
- Chairman of the Council and civic matters.
- Onward Limits on Delegations
The Leader of the Council may delegate to :
- an individual Cabinet Member;
- an officer.
