Needle Exchanges
If you are an injecting drug user you should be aware of the dangers of sharing works (not just needles). Apart from the well-publicised risk of HIV, many intravenous drug users are carriers of the Hepatitis C virus. This is much more virulent than HIV, and prevention requires much more stringent precautions. To keep yourself (and others) safe use the free and confidential needle exchanges in the district :
- Bakhai Pharmacy, 7 East Street, Shoreham-by-Sea
- Greens Pharmacy, 103, St. Mary's Street, Shoreham-by-Sea
- Rowlands Pharmacy, 31 North Road, Lancing
- Martin’s Pharmacy, 6 Southwick Square, Southwick
