Concessionary Travel Scheme
How your application will be processed
If you have applied for a bus pass
- Your pass will be posted to you by the card manufacturer and you can expect to receive it within 10 days of us receiving your application*.
- You should contact us on (01273) 263399 if it is not received within the following 2 weeks. If you do not, there will be a charge (£5) to provide another pass.
- Please note that it is not possible to issue passes locally.
If you have applied for a railcard exchange order
- Your exchange order will be posted to you by us and you can expect to receive it within 10 days of us receiving your application*.
- If you do not receive it, you should contact us on (01273) 263399 within the following 2 weeks. If you do not there will be a charge (£3.50) to provide another exchange order.
If you have applied for travel vouchers
- Your travel vouchers will be posted to you by us and you can expect to receive them within 10 days of us receiving your application*.
- If not received after a further week you should contact us on (01273) 263399.
* Note : People who apply for any concession (bus pass / rail exchange order / travel vouchers) on age grounds in advance of when they are eligible, can expect to receive their concession close to their eligibility date. An application should not be made more than two months in advance of when they will be eligible.
