The Place Survey :
The Place Survey is a new national survey that all local authorities are required to carry out every other year. The purpose of the survey was to find out how people feel about the place that they live. 3,000 random households were contacted to seek their views on issues such as community safety and local decision making.
The first one was carried out between September and December 2008. The Place Survey will be carried out next in 2010 the regularity of this survey will enable Adur and Worthing council’s to monitor their residents change in satisfaction and perception of the services it provides.
