Civic Centre
The
Civic Centre is the main office building for Adur District Council and Worthing
Borough Council staff in Shoreham-by-Sea.
Many services are now run jointly with Worthing Borough Council and as a result some services are now based in Worthing (eg Planning and Building Control). Conversely others are fully based in Shoreham-By-Sea (eg Environmental Health).

Opening times for services based at Adur Civic Centre are detailed below :

- Main public reception in foyer :
- Monday to Thursday : 8:30am to 5:30pm
- Friday : 8:30am to 5:00pm
- Cashiers / Cash Office / Payments :
- Monday to Friday : 8.30am to 2.30pm
Payments can be made outside of those hours by making automated payments by phone or using the on-line payments facility

Control :
Current planning applications are available to view at the Civic Centre, but planning and building control staff are based in Worthing. You can discuss applications with them over the phone from the Civic Centre.
