Coming changes to how you contact us electronically
We are looking at a plan to have a new approach to e-mail and electronic contact with us :
- Currently the website has numerous e-mail addresses that enable you to contact us for each service. We have no consistent way currently of recording these contacts across the organisation and tracking how long we take to respond.
- We plan to put in place a new approach where your contact e-mail will be recorded in a database and progress reports added to this record by our staff, with e-mail updates to you (if you have an email account) as changes are made. If you have no e-mail account you will be able to look up updates from the website.
- We believe this will enable us to offer you a more professional and consistent service and enable us to get a much clearer view of the work that starts at the website.
- The aim is to only utilise this approach initially for 'case' or 'service request' work generated from the website. Direct e-mail between you and staff within the organisation will still be possible.
