About Councillor Debbie Kennard

My interests / hobbies :

I have been a councillor for about a while now. I am interested in the people who live around me and how their lives could be improved. I enjoy getting involved with my children's schools and my local church as well as the youth and senior Citizens of Shoreham.

When and why I have become a councillor :

I became a councillor in 1993. I wanted to be a part of the decision making process for the area. I love living and working not just for myself but for everyone.

When can you meet me?

You can e-mail me or phone me and leave a message if I am not available. I am hoping to start surgeries in the near future and will inform you when these begin.

What would I like to achieve as your councillor :

I would like Adur to be a safe place to live and for all ages to be catered for within it. I would like for us to protect our environment and to live as a community, being tolerant and respectful of each others differences.

My current role on the council :

I sit on the Constitution and Audit Committee, Overview and Scrutiny Committee and Joint Overview and Scrutiny Committee.
