About Councillor David Simmons

My interests/ hobbies

I have been a Councillor for two years to use my wide ranging experience for benefit of local people. My interests are vocal music, IT, oil painting and writing.

When can you meet me ?

On the third Saturday morning of every month your Sompting Councillors together with the County Councillors and occasionally our M.P, Tim Loughton, will be holding a regular surgery to meet with our community. This is part of an increasing drive to make your local councillors more accessible. All surgeries will be held at the Family Centre, Lancing Road in Lancing from 10am - 12pm so that people visiting the town for their weekly shopping on Saturdays can call in while in the town centre.

Further details of which Councillors will be attending on each occasion will be published on www.mostlysompting.com closer to the start date. We local forward to assisting you with your local concerns.

What am I doing on the Council ?

I am the Cabinet Member for Health, Safety and Community Wellbeing and sit on the Joint Delivery Committee and Joint Strategic Committee.
