About Councillor Mary Hamblin

My Interests / Hobbies :

I have been a Parish Councillor since May 2008. I am the Chair of the Amenities & Environment Committee and Vice Chair of the Planning Committee on the Parish Council and I represent Lancing Parish Council on the Management of Widewater Committee and on the World of Widewater Committee - I am chair of that committee. I am also a Governor of Herons Dale Primary School and I am on the Neighbourhood Police Panel.

When and why I became a Councillor :

I am now retired and have time to make a contribution to the community.

I can be contacted on my email address and phone number shown above. My Surgery is on the 3rd Saturday morning of every month at the Family Centre, Lancing.

What would I like to achieve as your Councillor?

To highlight and seek a resolution to issues and problems raised by residents of Widewater Ward and to enhance Adur.

What am I doing on the Council?

I became a District Councillor in May 2010 where I am on the Development Control Sub-Committee.
