Requests have now been received by the Returning Officer to fill the above vacancies by the election process.
The Election for the West Sussex County Council Division of Salting (Churchill South, Marine and Widewater District Wards)
This has been scheduled to be held on 3 July 2003. Nomination papers to stand as a candidate in these elections are available from the elections office (address below). These need to be completed and returned by no later than noon on Friday, 6 June 2003. The latest date for receipt of postal or proxy vote application to be effective for this election is Wednesday 25 June 2003. Postal votes will be sent to those registered to receive them on Thursday, 26 June 2003.

The latest date for receipt of postal or proxy vote application to be effective for this election is Wednesday 9 July 2003. Postal votes will be sent to those registered to receive them on Thursday, 10 June 2003.
