Fuel restrictions
In the event of supplies of petrol or diesel fuel having to be restricted, the Government would implement emergency powers to manage the distribution of fuel.
This would introduce schemes to ensure a continued fuel supply for the emergency services and the utilities etc via separate designated filling stations within each District. This would be accompanied by a maximum purchase scheme for the general public whereby pumps at other filling stations would be set to dispense a limited amount of fuel per user.
