Introduction to funding scheme
Adur District Council Community Grants are administered by the Council’s Community Wellbeing team based at the Civic Centre in Shoreham-by-Sea.
The purpose of the Community Grants Scheme is to :
- Help local organisations to develop projects that help improve services or to try something new.
- Please note : Grants
for training and personal development are only available for up to £500
and you should use the application form related to that scheme. Ask
the Community Wellbeing Team for details.
Up to £500 funding - Who can apply?
- Any groups or organisations working with local people
- Any individual living within the Adur District - for training and personal development.
- Groups and Individuals can apply for up to £500 and can make more than one application each financial year - as long as the total requested does not exceed £500 in any financial year.

Up to £10,000 funding - Who can apply
- The £10k grant funding scheme is currently closed for 2010 - thank you to everyone who made an application this year.
- The scheme will be reviewed later this year for 2011 and should re-open
at the end of November 2010.
