Verge grass cutting (urban)
Verge
grass cutting in Adur (with the exception of the verge grass along the A27, see
below) is undertaken by West Sussex County Council.
For details of the schedule for grass cutting in the Adur District please see the West Sussex County Council website (www.westsussex.gov.uk/redirect/?oid=[com.arsdigita.cms.contenttypes.Article:{id=1920731}])

Note : The grss cutting programme is the best estimate of timings at the beginning of the season. Variable factors such as prolonged periods of rain (with consequential increased growth rates and soft ground conditions) or plant breakdown can cause slippage in the programme. Conversely long dry periods can allow cutting to speed up.
