Information for tenants - Repairs
If you are a council tenant you can report repairs by calling :
- Freephone : 0800 783 7150 (during office hours) calls are free from a standard BT landline. Calls from other networks and mobiles may vary.
You can report repairs outside of normal opening hours by using our out of hours number. This must be only used in cases of real emergency that are likely to be life threatening or cause serious injury to persons or property.
Alternatively, if you have a non-urgent repair, you can now report it using Adur Tenants' Self Service On-Line.
To help us monitor and improve repair standards we ask you to fill in a survey form after each repair is completed. To save our postage costs you can instead fill in the on-line house repairs survey form. Please indicate on this the reference number (HSG ... ) on the documentation we supply.

When you require a repair that you think is the council’s responsibility, first check your Conditions of Tenancy booklet (.PDF 117kb) and then when you are satisfied that the repair is not your responsibility contact us giving the following information: - Recharge
You will be recharged for a repair if the work is needed because of damage caused deliberately or as a result of neglect or the actions of a member of your household or visitors to your home.
