BMX and skateboarding

Southwick Skatepark, Southwick Recreation Ground - Completed and in use

Local user group project is finished!

Over forty local youngsters worked with Clive Bramble, Group Manager Adur Watch and Parks Services, to produce the design that most meets their needs. They did it and they could not wait to get on their bikes, skateboards and put on their in-line boots to try out the all new concrete ramp area at Southwick Recreation Ground.

The photos below show the completed Southwick Skatepark in use with BMX riders, skateboarders and in-line skaters performing a number of stunts and tricks, showing what they had been working so hard to design and how they got on once the site was officially opened in September 2007.
