Sports pitches, bookings and scale of charges
Adur District Council administer bookings for football pitches, cricket pitches and tennis courts, details are available below.
Details of sports pitches and facilities are listed below. For pricing please see the current 'Fees and Charges for Council Services' booklet.

Bowling greens :
Council bowling greens in Adur are located at Lancing Manor Leisure Centre grounds, Buckingham Park and Southwick Recreation Ground.
Adur council does not arrange bookings for the bowling greens. Please contact the clubs direct. The provision and hire of equipment is now the responsibility of the bowling clubs who operates at each of the sites. The bowling club operates the Adur Indoor Bowls Centre.
Cricket pitches :
Pitches, changing rooms, showers and practice nets are sited at Buckingham Park and Lancing Manor Park. Casual cricket pitch bookings can be made throughout the year for games to be held during April to September. Pavilions are available at Buckingham Park.
Football pitches :
Pitches
are at Southwick Recreation Ground, Sompting Recreation Ground and Buckingham
Park. Applications for season bookings for September to April need to be
received by mid July.
Casual football pitch hire can be made throughout the year for games to be held during September to April.
Optional changing room / shower facilities are also available.
Rugby pitches :
Rugby pitches and changiong rooms are available at Buckingham Park.
Stoolball pitches :
Adur District Council can also provide pitches for stoolball. For further information please contact Parks Services as above.
Tennis courts :
Casual bookings for tennis courts at Buckingham Park (ie one game) to Park Keeper. Club and block bookings can be made throughout the year by phoning the Parks section as above.
Tennis Courts are also available at Southwick Leisure Centre and Lancing Manor Leisure Centre and can be booked by contacting the relevant leisure centres direct.
