Shadwells Park, Lancing
Shadwells play area on Mash Barn estate Lancing opened on Thursday 23rd August 2007.
Following
a successful bid by the local community with Adur council to the Big Lottery
the new play area opened to the joy of all the local children. The new play
area cost £65,000 and includes three types of swings, climbing net,
spinners and four BMX recycled plastic ramps.
As the photos below show the Big Lottery funded £65,000 for the project and with the support of local residents, children, councilors, police and council officers a worn out site now looks wonderful and full of fun equipment for the local young children to play on.
