Planning application document and plans :
The planning application details will be shown in the right hand column along with documents and plans (as .PDF file links if available). Please note that GIS mapping can be slow to access over a dial-up connection and sometimes maps and attached documents and plans may take time to download due to their size.
Copyright Notice :
Plans, drawing and material submitted to the Council are protected by the
Copyright Acts (Section 47, 1988 Act). You may only use material which is
downloaded and/or printed for consultation purposes, to compare current
applications with previous schemes and to check whether developments have
been completed in accordance with approved plans. Further copies must not
be made without the prior permission of the copyright owner.

- Note (4th December 2008) : We are currently experiencing a few technical problems with our GIS mapping. You may need to click on an item several times for it to be selected, or you may need to refresh the screen ('F5' in Internet Explorer) for information overlay layers to show. We apologise for this problem and hope to rectify it as soon as possible. (Also, our GIS mapping is currently running on http://62.252.54.98/mapa/ not our www.adur.gov.uk address).
- Find planning applications using a planning application number
- Find
planning applications using an address or postcode (uses LLPG)
(Note : For finding planing applications use the property address rather than postcode as it will zoom in closer to that property) - or Find planning applications using an address or postcode [uses Address Point]
Applications will be added to the website weekly on a
Friday. As of 21st November 2005 you can now view planning application plans
and documents via the GIS browser - these plans and documents will be added
to the website a week later on the following Friday.
