Private new development proposed

Local developer PDM Facilities want to demolish three bungalows in West Lane Lancing and replace them with an 11 house development complete with its own access drive and automated security gates.

The development would include one chalet bungalow, a terrace of four houses and six semi detached houses. A planning application has been submitted to Adur Council, which is now being consulted on.

In their design brief the developers say the houses are designed for minimum maintenance and long life. The houses will have high insulation and solar panels on the roofs would be used to heat water.

This planning application is available to view at the Civic Centre in Shoreham. People can send their comments to :
