Brian’s Christmas card competition

Adur Council Chairman, Brian Coomber wants to encourage local children to show off their creative talent by entering a Christmas card competition. Children aged between 8 - 10 are invited to send a drawing or painting to the council chairman, which relates to the traditional Christmas story.

The winner of the competition will receive a £25 gift voucher and see their picture made into a Christmas card which the Chairman of Adur Council will send out. Two runners up will receive £10 gift vouchers.

Brian said:  “I want to encourage creativity in young people. These cards will show off the talent of Adur’s children to everyone I send a card too.“

Two professional local artists will judge the competition on 1 December.

The competition closes on Friday 24 November. Pictures should be presented on A4 paper and packed flat.  Send pictures to :
