An ASBO for Christmas
Ref : 06/120 : Date : 21-12-2006
A 16 year old boy from Southwick got an ASBO for Christmas this year following a successful prosecution by Adur District Council. Billy Spiller from Fishersgate Close in Southwick appeared at Worthing Magistrates court on Wednesday 20 December 2006.
The court heard that Billy had breached his interim ASBO five times since he received it in March this year.
Billy’s behaviour has caused nuisance, fear and distress to several people in the community. And he has a long list of anti-social behaviour; riding a scrambler bike without a licence, shoplifting, throwing water bombs at people, assaulting and swearing abusively at people.
The order will remain in force until 19 December 2008 a breach of this full ASBO could lead to a prison sentence of up to two years.
