Open – but not all hours

Adur’s cash offices at Lancing and Southwick are to remain open for three days a week for the foreseeable future. The cash office at the Civic Centre will continue to be open five days a week.
New methods of paying bills such as payment cards and direct debits have seen fewer customers paying their bills over the counter.
The cash offices were due to be closed from the end of March, but councillors decided there is still enough demand to keep them open for three days a week instead of five.
The council is continuing to promote paying bills by direct debit, over the phone, on the internet and with payment cards as these methods cost less to administer and therefore save tax payers money.
Lancing and Southwick cash office opening hours are:
- Monday/Tuesday
- 9am – 12.45pm
- 2pm – 4.30pm
- Wednesday/Thursday closed
- Friday
- 9am – 12.45pm
- 2pm – 4.30pm
