Shoreham food and drink festival

Farmers Market
Saturday 14th June 9am to 4pm
On Saturday 14th June the regular Farmers Market, will take place in East
Street with a focus on fresh local food, drink and produce for an extended
time from 9am to 4pm. The market will have over 70 producers selling a wide
range including meat, fish, chicken, honey, bread, cheese, plants, tomatoes,
vegetables, cakes, pies, wine, beer, cider as well.
On Saturday and Sunday the Food & Drink Festival marquee on Coronation Green High Street will be hosting local and regional producers promoting and sampling a wide range of quality food and drink as well as Arts, Crafts and charity fundraising stalls.
On Saturday the Festival Marquee will also host World Oceans Day. Helping people to understand the marine environment and wildlife of our oceans
Traditional Continental Market
East Street Sunday 15th June 11am to 4pm
On Sunday come and sample the delights of the Continent when East Street Shoreham by Sea, will be transformed into a bustling continental market place.
Professional continental market traders from France, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Holland, and Poland will be selling high quality products including Brittany biscuits, olives, Swedish cider, Italian nougat, pungent cheeses, saucissons, tartiflette from the Alps, charcuterie, fresh breads, croissants and much, much more! Or, for those of you with a sweet tooth, there will also be freshly cooked crepes. All of which can be washed down with wonderful Muscadet wines.
As well as the fine edible goods, you will also be able to choose from a wide range of products including hand bags & leather items, Marseille soaps, lavender, children toys and pashminas!
Musical Entertainment
To add the truly international flavour there will be a visit by the internationally
famous Folk Song and Dance Group “Ziemia Zywiecka” from Adur’s
twin town of Zywiec in Southern Poland.
They will be performing in the Festival Marquee on Saturday evening at 8pm (Tickets £5) and be giving street performances in East Street during the Food & Drink Festival on Saturday
On Saturday live music will be provided on Coronation Green by The Priory St Starbusters with swing Jazz from the ’30s &’40s, and on Sunday “Shenanigan” Irish Folk Band will be playing during the day.
