Ashikita delegates visit Shoreham

Brian Coomber, Chairman of Adur Council is welcoming Japanese delegates from Ashikita Town Council to the Adur Civic Centre this coming Monday as part of a tour run by local lady Ann Wright from Southwick who chairs the Brighton and Hove Anglo/Japanese Society.

Ashikita is a small coastal port in Kyushu, Southern Japan, who regularly come to this area. Last year the group visited the Mayor’s Parlour in Brighton and this year they have chosen to come to Adur.

After their civic tour they will visit Shoreham Yacht Club for drinks, ending the day with an official tour of Shoreham Port.
