Everybody can have a ball at Shoreham’s Christmas Extravaganza

Cinderella,
Lucinda Kennard, will officially open the Shoreham Christmas Extravaganza
and turn on the tree lights. The event takes place on Tuesday 8 December
2009 from 5pm to 9pm and is organised by the Shoreham Town Association in
partnership with the Adur Town Centre Initiative.
The event will be a focus for families with young children. Activities include street performers, samba band, live music, Christmas carols and you can even visit Santa’s Grotto and Winter Wonderland at The Shoreham Centre. Children’s fun fair rides and sideshows will be located in East Street.
On Coronation Green, the Fire and Rescue Service will be in attendance with many displays and exhibits. The Festival Marquee will be hosting a Christmas Market offering Arts, Crafts, Gifts and Festive Food.
In attendance will be 'Cinderella' (Lucinda Kennard) from the pantomime at Worthing Pavilion Theatre who will arrive by a beautiful illuminated glass carriage drawn by two shire horses to officially open the event and switch on Christmas Tree lights at 7pm.
