Food and drink galore in Shoreham this weekend

Make a date this weekend to visit the Shoreham Food and Drink Festival.

The fun, shopping, eating and drinking start at 9am until 4pm on Saturday 12 December 2009 with a bumper Christmas Farmers' Market.

A great opportunity to pick up some unusual Christmas presents on one of the arts and crafts stalls on Coronation Green.

On Sunday people can sample the delights of Italy when East Street will turn into a bustling continental market from 1am to 4pm.

Celtic band Shenanigan and the Priory Street Stardusters will join other bands to provide music all weekend and the Sompting Tipteers will perform a street theatre extravaganza 'St George and the Turkish Knight' on Saturday 1pm to 2pm.
