![]()
The
Disabled Badge Car Scheme (Blue Badge) provides a national arrangement of
parking concessions for people with severe walking difficulties, who travel
either as drivers or as passengers. It is administered by West Sussex County
Council. Blue Badges have replaced the orange badge disabled parking scheme.
To find out if you qualify for the Blue Badge scheme, would like to find out more, or wish to apply for a Blue Badge please visit West Sussex County Council's Blue Badge scheme pages (www.westsussex.gov.uk/redirect/?oid=%5Bcom.arsdigita.cms.contenttypes.ArticleSection:%7Bid=1767998%7D%5D) as Adur District Council is not responsible for issuing Blue Badges.

Request for disabled parking bays
If
you are a badge holder under the 'Disabled Blue Badge Scheme', you may be
entitled to a parking bay. Although these bays are not limited to a specific
individual's use, they can help ensure a parking space is available outside
your home.
This must be requested from West Sussex County Council.
Find out about disabled parking bays and request one on West Sussex County Council's website (www.westsussex.gov.uk/redirect/?oid=%5Bcom.arsdigita.cms.contenttypes.ArticleSection:%7Bid=1904078%7D%5D).
