TV
aerials, FM radio aerials and
satellite dish antennae
Ordinary TV and FM radio aerials
These do not normally require planning permission. However, in the case of larger aerials or antennae, particularly if mounted on a pole, or where there would be several aerials on the same building, you should contact one of the council's planning officers for advice as to whether permission will be needed.
Satellite dish antennae
These sometimes require planning permission or listed building consent to be obtained prior to installation. You will also need separate permission if you wish to install one on a council property.
