Commenting on applications (making a representation)
Neighbours and other members of the public can submit comments on any planning application that has been made so that they can be taken into account by the council in making a decision.
To make a comment on a planning application you will need to know the application number, the site address and the type of proposed works . You can get this information from either the weekly application listings or from viewing the planning application documents and plans on our GIS system.
If you wish to make comments on a planning application please either :
- use our on-line representation form (requires Adobe Acrobat)
- or alternatively you can submit your comments by sending Development Control an e-mail
If you are making comments it will need to be made within 21 days of the week ending date of the weekly application list the application appears in.
