Planning applications
Planning forms and fees
If
you are unable to, or prefer not to, use the Planning Portal to submit your
application on-line, you can download the 1APP planning application forms
and notes by selecting from the list below. These forms are not interactive
and you will need to print them out in order to fill them in. They can then
be posted to us together with drawings and other appropriate documents.
Each planning application form includes a check list of standard planning application requirements. The Department of Communities and Local Government has recently issued The Validation of Planning Applications: Guidance for local planning authorities (www.communities.gov.uk/publications/planningandbuilding/validationplanningapplications). In this document, local planning authorities are encouraged to consult on and adopt their own local list of requirements to add to the national checklist for the submission of planning applications. We are working in partnership with neighbouring authorities to agree a common list of requirements and this will shortly be the subject of consultation. Meanwhile, you may occasionally be asked to provide additional supporting documents to assist us to process your application. Your co-operation in the provision of such additional information would be greatly appreciated.

Householder application
Applying to build domestic extensions, loft conversions, new or altered access, garages and outbuildings, garden fences or walls and satellite dishes.
