Local Development Scheme
The Local Development Scheme (LDS) sets out the project plan and expected timescales for the production of documents (Local Development Documents) which will make up the Adur Local Development Framework (LDF).
The LDS contains information on our Local Development Documents which will be split into two categories :
- Development Plan Documents
- Supplementary Planning Documents
Development Plan Documents are the most important documents in the LDF and will be subject to an independent examination by an Inspector. These are supported by Supplementary Planning Documents which go into further detail on specific issues.
The LDS also sets out the stages at which you can get involved and have your say. The Statement of Community Involvement outlines how you can be involved.
The LDS was approved by the Secretary of State, and is available below :
To order a hard copy of the LDS (cost £3 to cover printing costs and postage) you can either send a cheque to the address shown in the contact details above along with details, or you can fill in our e-form (other payments) and pay on-line. In both cases please clearly indicate your request is for a copy of the Local Development Scheme (put 'Local Development Scheme' in the details box on the e-form).
