Corporate Improvement Plan
The Comprehensive Performance Assessment process requires all councils to produce an 'Improvement Plan' upon receipt of final report and findings of the Audit Commission. It has to specify how the council intends to address those areas identified as 'in need of improvement' over a three year period.
We have taken the opportunity of pulling together all the areas highlighted as in need of improvement from the various inspections and audits undertaken over the last six to nine months into one improvement plan - the Corporate Improvement Plan.
The council's Corporate Management Team will be regularly monitoring progress against each of the areas listed, with external auditors revisiting those areas falling within their responsibility, to ensure the council moves forward.
