Human Resources Strategy
We recognise the importance of retaining an enthusiastic, dedicated, experienced, multi skilled workforce. Numerous training and development programmes are available both in-house and externally to ensure that we always keep ahead of modern initiatives, work practices, technology. Recorded sickness is well below the national average at 7.2 days in 2003/04, as is staff turnover which is currently running at 16% (nationally it is anything up to 33%).
