National Indicators
The Council is required to measure how well it is doing against a number of national indicators that have been set by the Government.
Some services have introduced local targets, particularly in the areas where there are no statutory indicators. These will allow us to monitor local issues and set out own local targets according to priority of the issue within the community or the organisation.
A performance and risk matters report is produced quarterly for monitoring by the Overview and Scrutiny Committee and Cabinet. This allow members to scrutinise the performance of the indicators.
