Printing the Adur District Council website :
Getting the best results

This website has been designed so that it should print well on your printer.

To aid accessibility and legibility the printed font size is set to 12 point.

Please note that when you print a page from our website it will look different to how it appears on screen. This is because :

the navigation bars across the top of the webpage on screen and also navigation and information areas down the left and right hand sides of the page will be turned off and do not print out - this information is not of use on a printed copy and saves on your printer ink
other 'hidden information' (such as external website URLs that do not appear on screen) will be included on your print, as this may be useful later on rather than just having the website name
some of the information in the page footers at the bottom of the page will also be turned off and not print out, this also saves on printer ink

Printing background colours :

Some web browsers may not be setup to print 'background colours' by default - eg you may find that when you print our website you do not get the light green coloured panel behind the 'You are here ...' breadcrumb line.

To set your browser up to print background colouring you may have to do the following (depending on which web browser you are using) :

Internet Explorer :
- 'Tools'
- 'Internet Options'
- 'Advanced' - then scroll down to find 'Printing'
- Put a tick in 'Print background colours and images'

Opera :
- 'File'
- 'Print Options'

- Put a tick in 'Print page background'

- Put a tick in 'Print Background (colours and images)'

Netscape Navigator :
- 'File'
