Accessibility of maps and GIS (geographic information system) mapping
Adur District Council strives to meet the needs of all computer users with visual impairment or other conditions that may limit your accessibility to our website.
Unfortunately, because of its colour and graphics intensive nature and the complexity of the information shown, this means the map based geographic information in the GIS mapping area of our website cannot currently be presented in an easily accessible format and this may make accessibility difficult for some.

Any
Ordnance Survey mapping data included within the Adur District Council website
is provided by Adur District Council under licence from Ordnance Survey in
order to fulfil its public function to publicise various points within the
Adur District Council area. Persons viewing this mapping should contact Ordnance
Survey copyright for advice where they wish to licence Ordnance Survey mapping
for their own use.

to be correct, but Southern Water Services Ltd. accepts no responsibility
in the event of inaccuracy. The actual positions of pipes must always be
determined on site. Small discrepancies may exist as a result of the information
being displayed on the computer system operated by this council. If you wish
to establish if this is the case, you are advised to visit your county office
of Southern Water Services Ltd.
The legal status of sewers shown is based on the best available information. Southern Water Services Ltd. are currently checking this information and reserve the right to amend the status of a sewer if it is found to be incorrectly plotted. Any queries on this matter should be referred to the :

'Web-click' Licence : Licence agreement for access to national and/or authority datasets
Welcome to the Adur District Council website, which is owned and operated by Adur District Council. Set out below are the terms and conditions which, together with any legal notices displayed elsewhere on this website, represent all the terms and conditions on which we will provide you with access to the datasets created by Local Government Information House Limited (the "National Datasets") and/or the datasets compiled and maintained by Adur District Council (the "Authority Datasets") associated with the use of the National Land and Property Gazetteer and the National Street Gazetteer. Your continued use of this GIS system indicates your acceptance to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, please cease using this GIS system and return to other pages on our website.
The terms and conditions for this licence agreement are as follows :
1. The National and/or Authority datasets are associated with the use of the National Land and Property Gazetteer and the National Street Gazetteer. Information displayed throughout the Adur District Council website is extracted from a copyright work owned by the Local Government Information House Limited and Adur District Council.
2. A single screen print of the results of a search of the National and/or Authority datasets is permitted for your own use.
3. You may not extract or re-utilise information derived from the National and/or Authority Datasets and/or any copies of such information (whether electronic or in hard copy format) for any commercial or business purpose including but not limited to, trading, building commercial databases, reselling or redistribution of such information.
4.
