'Rethinking Rubbish in West Sussex' Education Pack
The 'Rethinking Rubbish in West Sussex' education pack has been published
in partnership with the West Sussex County Council, West Sussex District
and Borough Councils and The Environment Agency.
This pack can be used by teachers as a learning resource for school children but can also be used by anyone with an interest in waste related matters.
The education pack can be ordered by contacting West Sussex County Council on (01243) 777595 or by contacting Adur District Council's Waste and Recycling Officer as shown below.
Alternatively you can view and print a copy of the education pack from the West Sussex County Council WSGfL website (the link below is currently not available due to a fault on their website, but you could try cutting and pasting it into your web browser to see if it works http://wsgfl.westsussex.gov.uk/ccm/content/curriculum/citizenship/citizenship/the-environment/waste-management.en)
Talks on recycling
Waste and recycling officers will also visit schools and youth groups in the district to talk about waste, recycling and wider environmental issues. This is a free service, which we would encourage all schools and youth groups to take up.
