Heatwave

2006 saw very hot weather conditions over a prolonged period of time. As a result the Met Office issued a number of Heatwave Level 3 warnings when temperatures rose well in to the 30s (°C) with peak values around 36°C or 37°C.
If this occurs again in future years then it is good to be prepared for this sort of adverse weather.
