Sharing and bookmarking pages on the Adur DC website

We are currently using social bookmaking on the news releases section of our website.

NEW 03-11-2009 We are also now testing Twitter Twitter logoFollow us on Twitter (http://twitter.com/adurdc).

Each news release will contain links to various social bookmarking sites so you can share pages you have found useful. We only want people to bookmark our main www.adur.gov.uk address (our website can be viewed on several other URLs), so we have used JavaScript to generate the links which will redirect you to the right page to bookmark. If you get a message up saying you you don't have JavaScript enabled please find the page on www.adur.gov.uk and then use the links below to bookmark the page. Please send the webmaster an e-mail if you have any problems with this new feature.

Sharing and bookmarking

The Delicious, Digg, reddit, StumbleUpon, Newsvine and Facebook websites all allow you to bookmark webpages on the public area of the Adur District Council website.

These sites allow you to store, tag and share your favourite links across the internet. You can share these links both with friends and other people with similar interests to you. You can also access your saved links from any computer you happen to be using.

So, if you come across a page on the Adur DC website that you find interesting and want to save for future reference or share it with other people, simply click on one of the links on the relevant webpage to add it to your list.

All of these sites are free to use but do require you to register. Once you have registered you can begin bookmarking.

Each of the sites works slightly differently so use the links below to find out which service best suits your needs.
