Warm Front is a government funded scheme which provides grants to make homes warmer, healthier and more energy efficient. Grants are available for people who are on certain benefits and living in properties that are poorly insulated and/or do not have a working central heating system. Applicants must either own their home or rent it from a private landlord.
A Warm Front grant provides a package of insulation and heating improvements which are tailored to each property. You could receive a combination of :
- Loft insulation
- Draughtproofing
- Cavity wall insulation
- Hot water tank insulation
- Gas, electric, liquid petroleum gas or oil heating
- Converting a solid fuel open fire to a glass fronted fire

Solid Wall Insulation
Does your property have solid walls or do you live in a park home? If so you won’t be able to benefit from cavity wall insulation. However, the West Sussex Local Authorities and the Energy Saving Trust are running the ‘West Sussex Warmer Walls’ Scheme in conjunction with MGC Ltd. This scheme provides discounted thermal insulation for solid walls, floors and ceilings.
